Presenter Biography
Alayha Aquarian Alayha Aquarian has been participating in Landmark’s programs since 2006 and is passionate about being a Wisdom community leader. Aquarian is a visionary clown and compassionate caregiver who brings heart, humor, and healing to every space she enters. With a radiant presence and a gift for connection, Aquarian transforms performance into a form of community care. As a hostess and playful guide, she creates safe, joyful environments where laughter becomes a bridge to belonging. Whether delighting audiences with whimsy or supporting others with soulful presence, Aquarian is not just a clown—she’s a tender force for community, celebration, and compassion.
Allyn Silver Allyn Silver, a Landmark personal coach, is passionate about people winning, enhancing their effectiveness, and transforming their visions into reality. Silver collaborates closely with clients, applying unique and powerful technology to create and implement transformational solutions that yield remarkable results. Her clients consistently report they achieve greater effectiveness, improve their communication skills, evolve their leadership, and gain power and peace of mind while dealing with life’s circumstances. Beyond her professional life, Silver is a long-distance swimmer and triathlete. She also fosters dogs and cats, combining her love for animals with her dedication to making a positive impact in the world.
Amrit Kendrick Amrit Kendrick did The Landmark Forum in 2007 after 30 years of working in nature conservation and environmental education. Ever since childhood, she has been growing and developing her capacity in sharing her commitment for every human to have a deep appreciation for our planet. Transformation is one of her favorite discoveries along this path. Kendrick is one of the custodians who host Landmark’s Inquiries of the Social Commons. She lives in Western Australia.
Ana Krista Johnson Writer, performer, and filmmaker Ana Krista Johnson holds a master’s degree in transformative social change with a specialization in media impact and is currently pursuing a doctorate from Saybrook University. She is a published novelist and an award-winning film producer. Johnson has been an introduction leader for Landmark’s Family Division and assisted with the Los Angeles Wisdom Unlimited course for 15 years. Her current works-in-progress include a nonfiction book and a documentary on women’s reproductive choices. Johnson’s commitment: People are inspired and engaged, creating beloved community where they are cared for, compassionate, and joyfully alive.
Andy Monks Andy Monks is a Landmark staff member as a personal performance coach, the training and recruitment manager for the Wisdom Course Area, leader of the Structural Explorations course, and the Wisdom Course leader for Australia and New Zealand. He is also a multi-disciplinary artist with a 30-year career, having contributed to acclaimed films like “Happy Feet,” game development, and running his own creative studio. Currently, Monks’ artistic practice blends traditional sculpture, 3D printing, drawing, and painting with digital techniques, exploring the domains of playing games, spiritual practices, fantasy, and being human.
Ariela Marshall Ariela Marshall, a former staff member at Landmark and a former Landmark introduction leader, has introduced the Landmark Forum to more than 300 people. She was the source person for Landmark’s Causing the Miraculous event and was on the data team in Landmark’s Online Program Division. Marshall has written a report from the field for the journal of the Conference for Global Transformation each year since 2021 and was a workshop presenter those same years. She is a custodian of Landmark’s Inquiries of the Social Commons, hosting the Contribution, Living as a Created Self, and Public Persona calls.
Barry Pogorel Barry Pogorel first took the est Training in 1975 and became a staff member the following year. He was the manager of three Landmark centers, including Los Angeles, a Landmark Seminar leader who trained Seminar leaders, a Landmark Communication Course leader, and a co-leader of Landmark’s Advanced Course. For the last 40 years, Pogorel has been a transformational executive coach and currently leads a team of senior consultants focused on developing new material so that their work continues to contribute to humanity.
Bettina Bufé Bettina Bufé is an architect-turned-artist and illustrator based in Melbourne, Australia. She is a senior registration fulfillment communicator in the Australia-New Zealand region and a Landmark Forum director for the Teen Forum in Bangkok. Bufé has been in and around the Wisdom Unlimited for the Arts course for the last four years and finds her self-expression in leading inquiries there, exploring play and experimentation in creativity, listening for the leadership of young people and teens, and exploring creative collaboration.
Bob Mueller Bob Mueller has been a stand creating “organization transformation” as an established practice globally since 1980. He spent 30 years as an executive leader transforming several Fortune 500 companies such as Ford Motor Company and Magma Copper. Mueller has had an illustrious 50-year career as a pioneer in the field of transformational business consulting. He is presently a senior consulting contractor with Vanto Group. Mueller mentors industry and business leaders around the globe. He is known for his wide range of knowledge, heart-centered listening, and practical applications.
Bruce Campbell Bruce Torquil Campbell studied Fine Art in London and is an artist. Campbell did the Landmark Forum in 2002 and has participated in Landmark’s programs since then. Painting, making furniture, pottery, and playing the piano are his main creative outlets. Campbell lives in Findhorn, Scotland with his husband Draeyk. The promise he serves is: “By 2031, all people live creative and fulfilling lives – people are lit up!”
Carey Gister Carey Gister participated in the Landmark Forum in September, 1986, and Landmark’s Wisdom Course in the early 1990s. Gister currently is a custodian of Landmark’s Inquiries of the Social Commons. This is the fifth conference in which he is hosting a workshop. Gister lives in Marin County, California, with his wife Cynthia and two 17-year-old children, both of whom are graduates of the Landmark Forum for Young People. Professionally, Gister is a software engineer.
Carla Barrow Carla M. Barrow, is a former trial attorney, licensed marriage and family therapist, group facilitator, and writing a book, “For What It’s Worth.” Barrow brings more than 25 years of experience in law, transformative learning, and integrative psychotherapy to her clients, organizations, and the world. She blends humor, heart, and a passion for deep inquiry to help people live from their truth. She is the founder of The Integral Therapist and a long-time participant of Landmark’s programs. She lives in Florida, recently celebrated her 20th wedding anniversary, and is the proud mom of Mishka, her furry companion.
Carolyn Fine Carolyn Fine is the president and chief executive officer of Carolyn Fine and Associates. Her company specializes in redesigning organizational cultures to provide breakthroughs in individual and team performance that impact overall company goals.

Cherylle Garnes Cherylle Garnes has been a custodian of Landmark’s Inquiries of the Social Commons since 2022. She has enjoyed hosting and participating in the Discourses, Living as a Created Self, and Contribution inquiries. Her commitment for the world is that “Christians all over the world wake up, get into action, and show love, joy, and peace to all” with God “doing the rest.” One way that Garnes sees this happening is for the Bible to be translated into the 1,900 languages it has yet to be translated into so everyone will have access to it.
Chet Burgess Chet Burgess engages in inquiries whenever he can, and one of his joys is being a custodian of Landmark’s Inquiries of the Social Commons. Burgess presents the opportunity of inquiry to people out to develop themselves in being a leader as their natural self-expression and bringing power, freedom, and peace of mind to bear in the face of everything in life. His commitment is: “Everyone in the world be present to freedom and in touch with the joy and the miracle of life, free to be and free to act, with love expressed.”
Chris Kirtz Charles (Chris) Kirtz considers himself a “lifer” in participating in the est Training and Landmark’s programs. Fifty years ago, he did the first-ever est Training in Washington, D.C., in April, 1975. Immediately thereafter, Kirtz began participating in the programs that later became the Landmark Assisting Program. Since then, he has participated in virtually every Landmark course and program and held virtually every assisting position. In his 10th year as a custodian of Landmark’s Inquiries of the Social Commons, Kirtz considers it his highest calling. At play on the playground of possibility, he is committed to “listening and creating listening environments where individuals discover they are perfect, whole, and complete just exactly the way they are and are not.
Christine Arbor Christine Arbor is the director of operations for Landmark’s Wisdom Course Area. Arbor became a Landmark staff member in 1999 in Boston and since then has contributed to the Wisdom courses in Boston, Philadelphia/New Jersey, Chicago, and Houston. Formerly a member of the Wisdom Course Leader body, Arbor leads Transforming Yesterday’s Strategies, aspects of the Wisdom Leading Fundamentals program, and other programs. Arbor married Michael Nall in September, 2010, and they live in Pacific Grove, California, where they enjoy walking to the beach to see the sunset.
Christopher Gates Christopher C. Gates, a managing director in Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management, volunteers with grassroots community leaders in Northern Ireland, Israel, and the United States through the Mastery Foundation School for Leadership, where he is a financial sponsor, program leader, and coach. As a member of SAG-AFTRA, he has appeared on television and in film. He lives in New York City and has delivered the conversation in his two-part workshop to more than 2,000 participants, including work colleagues, business schools, and select not-for-profit organizations.
Collins Hunter Collins Hunter’s Commitment for the World is: “Intimacy As the Next Step In Transformation: Practices For A Life You Love”. As one of the custodians of Landmark’s Inquiries of the Social Commons, Hunter’s star shines in the realm of acknowledgement and engagement with each speaker. Having joyfully served over 10,000 veterans at the Department of Veterans Affairs for 10 years, Hunter delivers extraordinary customer service by day and intimacy with the Social Commons by night. Come experience delight and leave as a transformed human being.
Corrina Sephora Corrina Sephora is an artist, metal sculptor, and painter whose work explores creative expression as a shared contribution and catalyst for global transformation. A recognized leader of Wisdom for the Arts, she lives and works in Atlanta, Georgia. Sephora holds a bachelor of fine arts degree in metals and sculpture from Massachusetts College of Art and a master’s in sculpture from Georgia State University. Her work has been exhibited in the context of the 2024 Venice Biennale and is held in the collections of the Museum of Contemporary Art, the Martin Luther King Jr. Historic Center, and Sir Elton John. She has contributed original content to the Conference for Global Transformation annually since 2013.
Dave Hoon Dave Hoon lives in Minneapolis, is a father of two fine young men, is a musician and a collage artist, and for his “Day Job” is in sales with a local water treatment company in Minneapolis. Dave has participated with Landmark in various leadership capacities for more than three decades, and is currently the Registration Fulfillment Manager for the Advanced Offerings of the Wisdom Course Area.
David Flattery Dave Flattery recently retired from DuPont, where he led strategic initiatives for one of the organization’s divisions. He is a Six Sigma Master Black Belt in process improvement, and leads programs in statistics, data analysis, and process improvement. This is his seventh year participating on the State of the World Scorecard Team, where he is now the team leader. He previously presented a poster and co-led a workshop at the Conference for Global Transformation, inquiring into listening for others in the domains of religious belief, agnosticism, and atheism. Flattery serves on several non-profit boards including those of the Santa Barbara United Way and the Compassion Prison Project.
David Ritscher David Ritscher has a Commitment for the World: By 2030, revolutionary medical pathways are routinely being created through understanding data as access to understanding physiology. Ritscher invents medical devices, consults, and is on advisory boards for new startups. His inventions include devices to monitor heart rhythms, assess athletic performance, and treat heart arrhythmias and sleep-disordered breathing. Ritscher holds 12 patents and has 26 publications. He has done Landmark’s Creation of Freedom course and its Consultants Training Program. He has been getting coaching with Landmark’s Consultants since 2012. He dances 5Rhythms, plays piano and French horn, and has done 12 inline-skating marathons.
Deb Strange Deb Strange was a Landmark staff member for 34 years where she worked in local and regional management, training and developing staff, and documentation and project management. Strange also led Seminars at Landmark and co-led the Advanced Course for several years. Prior to joining Landmark’s staff, she practiced social work in the areas of crisis intervention and family violence.
Deborah DeVere Deborah Devere is a custodian of Landmark’s Inquiries of the Social Commons. The experience of participating in inquiry has had a profoundly magical impact on her quality of life and she is committed to creating and holding that space for others. Devere is the delighted wife of a unicorn husband who is her playmate in transformation.
Della DiPietro Senior Landmark personal coach Della DiPietro draws from decades of leadership roles as a global corporate executive and elected government official. DiPietro coached thousands of Landmark graduates to new levels of effectiveness as a leader of Landmark’s Seminars and the Communication Courses. She is passionate about her clients winning and the critical role that communication plays. Her background also includes award-winning work in television journalism. DiPietro and her husband are avid runners and the motto on her favorite running shirt is “One More Mile!”
Diane Dickey Diane Dickey creates worlds and spaces of beauty, be it with art or in conversation. Dickey is a custodian of Landmark’s Inquiries of the Social Commons, hosting weekly Contribution, Public Persona, and Social Commons calls. She is also a mentor for other custodians. Her promise for the world is “a world of transformation where each and every person has access to unlimited ongoing growth and development by the year 2030.”
Dolly Costello Dolly Costello, Ph.D., has been involved in transformational work since 1979. She obtained her doctorate from University of California, Berkeley and a post-doctorate certificate in the neuropsychology of learning and social-emotional development. Costello specializes in assessment and intervention of children and adults who have autism, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, and other mental health challenges. She participates in Landmark’s Wisdom Course Area as a custodian of Inquiries of the Social Commons. Costello’s commitment is “radiating lightness of being”. This includes her created public persona as Dolly and Dr. Dolly, who clown around the world with Patch Adams, M.D., clown doctor extraordinaire.
Dræyk van der Hørn Dræyk van der Hørn is a conservationist, rewilding advocate, and community builder with a background in landscape architecture and global food networks. After spending years farming and witnessing climate breakdown firsthand, he was elected Moray’s first Scottish green councilor in 2022. Passionate about nature, democracy, and authentic leadership, he works on local projects, explores the Cairngorms, and champions a politics of listening. A gallery owner, he believes art and words shape our world and transform it. Standing for the Scottish Parliament, he seeks to bring integrity, possibility, and bold action to politics, for people, planet, and a just future.
Eileen Epperson Susan Harrington is a passionate business coach and leader, committed to service and contribution by connecting with clients and helping them discover their goals, passions, and dreams. Harrington has 35 years of experience in leading Landmark’s programs and has led to thousands of people of diverse backgrounds, always elevating performance and impacting people’s experience and satisfaction. Harrington was a Landmark Self-Expression & Leadership Program leader for 13 years, a designated Landmark Communication Course leader, and a global leader of Landmark’s Team, Management, and Leadership Program for 10 years. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Elizabeth Percival Elizabeth Percival has been an actress, a Montessori teacher, a homeschooling mother, an artist, a writer, a healer, a channeler, and a world traveler. Percival has been exploring transformation with Landmark Worldwide since 1999. She participates in Landmark’s Global Training Academy and as a community leader for the Wisdom Course for Elders. Percival recently moved to southeast Alaska from the mountains of North Carolina to be near her children and granddaughter. She asks, “What if we all experienced ourselves as one with everything and everyone through love?”
Eric Englart Eric Englart, a former civil engineer who safeguarded nuclear facilities and transformed landscapes, is living his Commitment for the World—people expressing their passions. In 2015, a personal trial—the illness of his father—revealed the broader potential of his skills, leading him to a new mission: enhancing lives with love, abundance, and effectiveness. Englart’s journey from engineering physical structures to shaping brighter futures underscores the power of resilience and purpose. To fulfill this commitment, Englart created “Living the Designed Life”, a pathway to fulfill your passions through simplicity, ease and fun.
Erin Meyer Erin Meyer lives in Salt Lake City, Utah, with her husband and two dogs. Meyer earned a Ph.D. in pharmacology from Georgetown University and a B.A. in biology from University of California, Santa Barbara. Meyer recently concluded working in research development at University of Utah where she completed a postdoctoral fellowship in neuroscience/genetics and was formerly a Research Assistant Professor. Additionally, Meyer is an event leader for Landmark, a yoga therapist practicing yoga for ~45 years, and a HeartMath Interventions Specialist. She holds keen interests in social justice and disability studies.
Eroca Lowe Eroca C. Lowe has spent over 30 years working with executives, teams, and entrepreneurs to unlock new levels of performance and possibility. She began her career as a divisional administrative manager for one of the world’s largest training companies and has since supported organizations ranging from Fortune 500 firms to small businesses. In the past three years, Eroca has been passionately exploring how emerging technologies—especially AI—for greater ROI and creativity in business. A lifelong student of productivity and accelerated learning, she brings clarity, creativity, and humor to her work. Eroca lives in Novato, California, with her husband Kevin and enjoys hiking in the Marin Hills.

Felicia Nagamatsu Felicia Nagamatsu is the founder of TrainYourGenius.com, a community where neurodiversity is joyful, natural, expected, and essential. She views male and female brain wiring as evidence that neurodiversity affects all humanity and sees neuro-intelligence as a solution whose time has come. Nagamatsu works to shape language and education that preserve natural genius and honor the self-worth of every individual. She is a global advocate for the joy of neurodiversity, raising awareness of neurodiverse strengths/gifts. Nagamatsu is a friend, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, speaker, teacher, coach, author, and inventor, and considers her neurodiverse marriage of 49 years her greatest achievement.
Frank Quinlan Frank Quinlan is a Medicare insurance professional, senior athlete, and is actively involved in his community. He is committed to making a difference for others and to what the Conference for Global Transformation has to offer everyone. Quinlan was the Landmark source team leader for Kansas City and created the first Landmark workspace there, created a production supervisor training program, and led the Assisting Program, including leading introductions to Assisting for several years. He is a former Landmark course supervisor, Landmark introduction leader, and was on the team for Landmark’s Partnership Explorations course for several years.
Gari Thompson Gari Thompson has participated in Landmark since 1998. As a custodian of the Inquiries of the Social Commons she is inspired by the power and magic that occurs in the space of collective intelligence looking together. Her commitment is that heart-minded listening awakens transformation in the world. In developing as a custodian, she has discovered that if you can watch yourself impartially you’ll never lack for amusement.
Gary Bryson Gary Bryson completed the Landmark Forum in 2015 and Landmark’s Wisdom Unlimited course in 2017. Since then, he has either participated or assisted in every subsequent Wisdom Course. In 2019, at the Conference for Global Transformation, Bryson presented a poster calling for the Conference to include an art exhibition to expand ways participants could express the Conference theme. The 2020 Conference saw the first virtual art exhibition held in conjunction with videos created for posters. The art videos have been highly successful and are now a regular part of the Conference.
George Finsrud George Finsrud, a custodian of the Inquiries of the Social Commons, is inspired by collaborative effort, a give and take of ideas and enthusiasms, profound honesties, and good jokes. He says that he loves to wake up before the sun with a schedule and discover how far off the day unfolded while basking in the afterglow of accomplishment.
Heather Shapter Heather Shapter is the executive director of Crossroads International, a leading Canadian voluntary cooperation agency working with local partners in sub-Saharan Africa to advance rights, reduce poverty, and increase access to justice for women and girls. Shapter also serves as Chair of the Forum Board of Directors, the world’s largest network of organizations leveraging volunteers to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Shapter has held senior roles across the Caribbean, Africa, Middle East, and Southeast Asia, and is recognized globally for advancing women’s and girls’ rights. She lives in Toronto with her two sons.
Hilary Burns Hilary Burns is the creator and host of “The Getting Real with Hilary Show,” where she shares inspiring stories of transformation, resilience, and authenticity across global platforms including YouTube, iTunes, and Spotify. A three-time author, Burns explores how life’s challenges can be reframed as opportunities for growth and freedom. She has spent decades leading conversations in personal development, spirituality, and empowerment, blending humor, honesty, and vulnerability to create spaces where people feel seen and heard. Whether through media, writing, or coaching, Hilary is committed to raising the consciousness of the planet — one real conversation at a time.
Jane Best Grandbouche Jane Best Grandbouche has more than 40 years of training and development in transformational education, including more than 25 years as a program leader at Landmark. Grandbouche is an advocate for the environment and has worked on many projects in this field. As manager of a native plant nursery, she grew and planted over 100,000 trees, plants, and flowers. She has been a student of yoga and meditation for the past 50 years. Along with her husband Brad, Grandbouche has a wholesale book business, a consulting and coaching practice, and resides in Florida. She has two daughters and three granddaughters.
Jill Wooldridge Jill Wooldridge brings more than 40 years of experience in training, development, and business consulting to her role as a Landmark personal coach. She has been a Landmark program leader for more than two decades and has led to thousands of people inspiring performance, extraordinary contribution, and leadership. Beyond her work in personal development, Wooldridge has a strong foundation in business consulting, helping entrepreneurs and business owners navigate complex challenges in leadership, organizational change, and performance. With a bachelor’s degree in business management and French, her career reflects a deep commitment to fostering growth while helping people and businesses thrive.
Jim Hanson Jim Hanson, a Navy veteran, brings 37 years of leadership and staff development experience as founder and managing partner of Sonoma Rentals and Wine Country Party, employing up to 130 people. He has served as president of the Chamber of Commerce, Wine Country Film Festival, Sonoma Valley Education Roundtable, and vice president of Sonoma Valley Boys & Girls Club. Hanson has participated in Landmark’s programs for 45 years and is committed to community leadership, fostering teams built on friendliness, helpfulness, and genuine interest in people.
Joan Bordow Joan Bordow is a great-grandmother who has led transformational programs for thousands of people. In her earliest career, as a writer, she wrote eight books, including two cookbooks, one of which won the R.T. French Tastemaker’s Award (now known as the James Beard Foundation Award).
John Corbiere John Corbiere has been participating in est’s and Landmark’s programs since 1975. He was an Episcopal priest for 33 years, graduating from Yale Divinity School and serving parishes and church schools along the east coast of the United States. Corbiere is a former Landmark staff member and participated extensively with the Hunger Project and the Mastery Foundation; he traveled to western Africa and Ireland in support of the transformational work of these organizations. He is a member of the listener team in Landmark’s Wisdom Course Area and provides “the Conversation for the Difference You Make” to graduates. Corbiere resides in Salisbury, Connecticut.
Judith Bell Judith Bell is an artist and arts educator who taught college-level studio arts courses for more than 30 years before her retirement in 2024. She has always been interested in health and wellness, and her diagnosis of post-treatment Lyme disease syndrome in 2023 heightened her interest and furthered her exploration into this area.
Judith Owens-Manley Judith Owens-Manley, Ph.D., is a retired clinical social worker and faculty administrator as well as a retired Wisdom Course leader. Owens-Manley is interested in discovering, out of her own hesitation, how anyone becomes active in sharing about the climate; she shared a video on this subject titled “Finding My Way into Climate Activism” at the 2024 Conference for Global Transformation. She is an ambassador for climate restoration and works with the Steering Committee for Climate Restoration Alliance. Her latest adventure is a master’s degree in Creative Writing and managing her many interests, including six grandchildren under the age of ten.
Judy-Lee Chen Sang Judy-Lee Chen Sang is a published author who faced the adversity of breast cancer and double mastectomy. While healing from surgery, Chen Sang discovered the fusion of her photography and technology, creating a new view of life that enabled her recovery and a place to speak from. Using the visual arts, she now advocates for women to have comfort in being breastless and for fashion designers to begin creating patterns and clothing for those without breasts. A Landmark Self-Expression & Leadership Program leader and a Landmark personal coach, Chen Sang is committed to graduates causing an unprecedented level of performance and produce miracles in their lives.
Julie Bagley Julie Bagley is a graduate of Landmark’s Wisdom Course, holds a master’s degree in innovation and leadership, and is a LEGO® Serious Play facilitator. After surviving her husband’s suicide in 2018, Bagley turned loss into a launchpad for audacious possibility. A self-declared “joyful disrupter,” she sparks creativity, is playfully curious, and ignites courage—helping people and organizations play boldly, disrupt joyfully, and reimagine what’s possible. Bagley’s workshops leave participants energized, inspired, and ready to transform their world—proving that even in the face of tragedy, life can be wildly playful and profoundly transformative.
Kaer Soutthard Kaer Soutthard has dedicated her life to programs advancing equality, early childhood education, compassion, well-being, and social justice. She has contributed to organizations such as the Hunger Project, Pachamama Alliance, and West Marin Senior Services, fostering a kinder and more sustainable world. Passionate about exploring new ideas, possibilities, and alternative ways of living, Soutthard is committed to balance, harmony, and workability. Kimberley Brown Kimberley Brown, a seasoned Landmark program leader with more than 18 years of experience, is deeply committed to service, contribution, and transforming the lives of others. Her innovative and engaging approach, coupled with a lifetime as an entrepreneur, has empowered individuals to overcome barriers, achieve extraordinary results, and unlock their fullest potential. Kristen Mangione Kristen Mangione is a professional choreographer, dancer, teacher, healing artist, and founder of Dance Alchemy for the Soul. Mangione is committed to transforming the world through dance. She choreographs and creates experiences that combine dance, movement improvisation, meditation, and healing.
Leigh Ingle Leigh Ingle grew up freely exploring Te Urewera, New Zealand’s largest native forest. Over her lifetime, she has witnessed its decline—once-clear waterways now polluted and eels, koura, birds, and native plants devastated by invasive species like mustelids, opossums, and goats. Ingle worries that children have lost connection with nature and won’t speak loudly for its protection. Passionate about change, she is inspired by fellow Landmark graduate Robin Kermode’s environmental programs and hopes to bring similar initiatives to northern New Zealand, partnering with local tribes to ignite a nature revolution and restore the balance between people and the natural world.
Linda Russell Linda Russell completed the Landmark Forum in 2011, Landmark’s curriculum for living in 2012, and participates in seminars, Wisdom Course Area courses, and the Team, Management, and Leadership Program. She assisted on the Hospitality Team for two years at the Conference for Global Transformation. Russell subsequently published a report from the field in the Conference journal and co-led two workshops at the Conference. Russell hosts Landmark’s Inquiries of the Social Commons as a custodian; her commitment is all people shifting their listening from right/wrong to workability, creating fun, “aha” moments, joy, and uncommon togetherness.
Linda VerNooy Linda VerNooy has worked on climate change since 1998. She started climate work after doing Landmark’s Advanced Course that year. VerNooy has attended the Conference for Global Transformation more than 10 times since 2003 and has led workshops at least five times. While living in Seattle, she worked with a core team including Landmark Self-Expression & Leadership Program leader Blair Henry to successfully pass the first bills on climate change in Washington in 2002. Since 2016, VerNooy has been the coordinator for Citizens Climate Lobby and an ambassador for climate restoration to Citizens Climate Lobby and environmental non-governmental organizations.
Lonny McLaughlin Lonny McLaughlin was a Landmark Communications Course Leader and Landmark Forum Leader for over 20 years, impacting and empowering people from all over the world. Prior to this, he successfully started a salon and day spa which he continues to own and operate. He is also an avid artist and recently opened a studio for his work.
Lori Watkins Lori Watkins was born in Santiago, Chile, and, as an infant, was adopted by American diplomats serving at the U.S. Embassy there. Living in underdeveloped countries much of her childhood, she calls herself a “third-culture kid.” Watkins absorbed the cultures, history, and traditions of the countries where she lived and brought it all to her work as a vocational nurse for 23 years. She is a holistic integrated creative art therapist leading art workshops for healthcare workers and has begun training as an executive director in senior living.
Lynn Underhill Lynn Underhill has a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from University of Texas and a master’s degree in philosophy in systems and industrial engineering from University of Arizona. She traveled and worked in the United States, Europe, and Australia while employed at IBM and has led and is facilitating transformational programs with Landmark Worldwide.
Lynnie Sterba Lynnie Sterba is a visual artist based in Redondo Beach, California. Sterba’s paintings are intimate reflections of her inner world, blending spirituality with nature’s beauty and emotional depth. Each piece begins with the word “love” inscribed on the canvas, grounding her creative process with intention. Influenced by Van Gogh, Matisse, Fauvism, and, later, Joan Mitchell and Abstract Expressionist women, Sterba’s work explores nature’s moods with vibrant, healing energy. Her art has been exhibited in institutions including Los Angeles County Museum of Art Sales and Rental Gallery and Long Beach Museum of Art. She creates to connect, heal, and inspire.
Margaret Bhola Margaret Bhola has extensive backgrounds in business, sales and marketing and corporate wellness. She’s a top national sales producer for several large companies and an effective leader and team coach. A featured speaker and trainer at the national level. Margaret’s a health advocate and IMD with the J+ Company, fostering entrepreneurship in the wellness industry. She brings her leadership to philanthropic boards addressing youth violence, poverty and entrepreneurship. Margaret’s mentored Micro-Credit Foundations. expanding their presence from local to global levels.
Her book, “Women I Want to Grow Old With” explores the essence of intentional female friendships.
Mark Krauss Mark Krauss is a custodian of Landmark’s Inquiries of the Social Commons, father, grandfather, colleague, engineer, experimenter in the living of life, and gentleman farmer. During his career as an engineer, Krauss noticed that while difficult, the problems of technology are easy to solve when compared to those of being human. He is learning to love loud shirts and has discovered the value of inquiry in having people expand their views of life and to act on what they discover for themselves. Krauss lives happily in Mariposa, California, and is contemplating retirement and the next 30 years of his life.
Mary Wells Mary Wells earned her bachelor’s degree from University of California, Santa Cruz and her master’s degree in clinical social work from California State University, Fresno. She specializes in evidence-based neuroplastic approaches to reducing and/or eliminating persistent pain. While living in Oregon, Wells developed innovative multidisciplinary treatment programs for chronic pain patients, achieving measurable improvements in pain and functioning. She maintains a private practice in Bend, Oregon, seeing individuals as well as providing training and consulting. Wells received the Best Paper Award at the 2025 Conference for Global Transformation for “Pain Transformed by Being Transformed: Current Research Opens New Possibilities.”
Maureen Charles Maureen Charles holds a master’s degree in writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts. She co-authored the young adult biography “Music Mavens: 15 Women of Note In the Industry” and has other works in progress. Charles is a co-founder at Love of Aging, chairs the board of Haiti-based NGO Aid Still Required, mentors teen writers for Write Girl, and participates in Quaker activism. Charles led Landmark graduate programs for 27 years and was a Landmark staff member for five. Her commitment: Diverse voices around the globe achieve equitable representation in the creative and performing arts.
Melanie Trent Melanie Trent has devoted her life to standing for the flourishing of humanity and life on Earth from her home in the mountains of Colorado, where she lives with her husband Scott. A retired respiratory therapist with expertise in project and program development, training, and implementation, Trent has applied her skills across healthcare, education, children’s programs, and environmental stewardship. Her work has consistently focused on who we are for one another and ourselves, having our commitments and creative expressions live in the world, and cherishing the Earth’s ecosystems that sustain us all.
Merilyn Fenn Merilyn Fenn is a custodian of Landmark’s Inquiries of the Social Commons. Fenn has always been interested in personal relationships and communication, and previously has delivered communication programs to college students as well as married and pre-married couples. After completing a Bachelor of Science with honors in marine biology, her career was in teaching biology and environmental science to college students. Fenn participated in the Landmark Forum in 2005, the Wisdom Course in 2013, and the Partnership Explorations course and the Inquiry Explorations program in 2019. She believes inquiry is the pathway to world transformation.
Meryl Sher Meryl Sher attended Juilliard Pre-College and Oberlin University to pursue a career in opera while working with senior executives in corporate America for more than 40 years. In retirement, Sher produces and performs live/live-streamed concerts and sings at senior centers in New York. She was a Landmark Self-Expression & Leadership Program leader, inspiring and empowering others. Sher participates regularly in the Conference for Global Transformation, Year-end Vacation course, and Inquiries of the Social Commons. She is passionate about friends, the arts, traveling, her family, transformation and bringing joy to the world.
Nina Master Nina Master is a health practitioner, a doctor of Oriental medicine, and an expert in state-of-the-art Japanese acupuncture protocols for chronic health conditions. Working in Australia for more than 30 years in major acupuncture modalities, she specializes in the Chinese, Japanese, and Toyohari systems. Master is the academic dean in Queensland for Toyohari and has a passion for serving people in regaining their health, wellbeing, and vitality. As a designated custodian, she hosts Landmark’s Inquiries of the Social Commons. Master is honored to commit to people being one in the space of it all, with love and vitality.
Owen Coffey Owen Coffey is a Landmark consultant, leads the Advanced Offerings of the Wisdom Course Area, and delivers one-to-one personal coaching. He first became a Landmark staff member in 2005 and holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Columbia University. Coffey and his wife Rebecca live with their three children in Dorset, Vermont.
Pam Pence Pam Pence is a dedicated advocate for humanity and the Earth, applying her business, somatic trauma healing, generative dialogue facilitator, and spiritual guide skills as they are called for. She has earned a master’s in business administration, holds a certified public accountant license, and various certificates as a yoga therapist, practitioner of healing modalities, and meditation teacher. She is committed to co-creating a compassionate, just, and ecologically sustainable world.
Patrick Bell Patrick Bell has been a trainer, consultant, and coach for 40 years and has significant executive management experience, primarily in healthcare. For the last 10 years, he has been chairperson of the board of a foster family agency in Sacramento. Bell completed Landmark’s Curriculum for Living in 2002 and participated in Landmark’s Assisting Program for several years, including as the source person for the San Francisco Wisdom Course. He has co-led workshops at the Conference for Global Transformation and has published in the Conference Journal. Bell’s promise for the world is everyone living a life of love and inclusion.
Peg Miller Peg Miller brings her entire life to everything she does, including the workshop she is leading at this year’s Conference for Global Transformation. She has been married for 59 years, has a loving family of 30 people, and has worked as a physical therapist, drug and alcohol counselor, and somatic psychotherapist, and is a recovering alcoholic and an adult child of alcoholic/dysfunctional parents. Owning all aspects of herself, Miller is committed to all people loving their selves, which is an access to relationships of love.
Peter DeFreitas Peter DeFreitas is a Landmark Wisdom Course leader as a creative expression of loving humanity and leads the Wisdom for the Arts course. He is in a life-long practice of the art of loving people.
Peter Fiekowsky Massachusetts Institute of Technology-trained physicist and entrepreneur Peter Fiekowsky founded the climate restoration movement. His 2022 book, “Climate Restoration,” maps a technically and financially viable pathway to restoring safe CO2 levels. This supports his vision of humanity flourishing for millennia to come.
Phil Cisneros Phil Cisneros has been an educator for more than 24 years. He has taught every grade from kindergarten to university-level as well as worked as a principal and vice-principal. Cisneros has a master’s degree in education and administration from San Jose State University and is a Ph.D. candidate in education at Universidad Internaciónal San Isidro in Costa Rica, where he is also an English professor to Costa Rican educators. He is a proud father of two daughters and lives in Santa Cruz, California.
Rachel Barwell Rachel Barwell has commitments that span social justice, environmental, and equity issues. She is a neurodiversity educator and practitioner in Aotearoa New Zealand. She advocates for equal access to dyslexia education for those in her own country, as well as in three African countries and the United States. Barwell is a founding member of African Women’s Leadership and Mental Wellbeing program, drawing together thousands of women across Africa to develop their leadership. She is now part of the ground-breaking New Zealand and Australian Another Way To Go team, supporting formerly incarcerated people to create new futures in their families and communities.
Ray Stoddard Ray Stoddard has lived in France with his wife Rita for the past 13 years. He has participated in Landmark’s programs for more than half of his life as a staff member, a Self-Expression & Leadership Program leader, and the co-chairperson with Laurie Ford of the Conference for Global Transformation for its first 13 years. Stoddard is a Wisdom Course leader-in-training in Europe.
Rich Schuster Rich Schuster is one of the elders of Landmark’s Wisdom Course Area. Schuster is committed that all people have access to the created dimension of being and that they are thereby empowered to be up to great and challenging work. In addition to having had a productive career in physics and engineering, he is a student of, and has trained many people in, practices of communication to support aliveness and productivity. Schuster and his wife, Noreen, celebrate more than 40 years of marriage and participation in service of transformation.
Robert Thomas Evangeline Pesca is a business leader and creative thinker whose work explores the intersection of leadership, resilience, and human possibility. As chief executive officer of a minority women-owned manufacturing company, she is committed to building organizations where people feel valued, supported, and inspired to contribute beyond perceived limitations. Raised between cultures, Pesca brings a perspective shaped by both adversity and generosity. Her writing reflects a lifelong inquiry into how sharing, courage, and responsibility shape the way we lead and create possibilities for others. She shares her life with her husband Davide and her three daughters Arianna, Gabriella, and Kara.
Robin Kermode Robin Kermode is a registered primary school teacher and brings creativity, play, and storytelling into learning through games and activities connected to the natural world. For twenty years, she created and facilitated Stories in Action, where young people danced their way into being great rugby players. She had a weekly column, “An Invitation from Papatūānuku,” for a year in the Gulf News, led the Rotoroa Island Education Program for two years, and since 2024 has been a Climate Restoration Relief Teacher. She also co-creates with young people to write children’s books celebrating Aotearoa’s native species.
Rochelle Frank Rochelle Frank, MD, has been a physician for 30 years and is board-certified in neurology and integrative medicine. Frank has worked in community and academic environments, most recently as a Clinical Professor at University of California, Davis. In July 2025, she opened her own private practice in integrative neurology. Frank led several workshops at the Conference for Global Transformation from 2014-2023 and served as a Keynote Speaker at the 2025 Conference. She has been a student of indigenous wisdom for 10 years and her Commitment for the World is a new dimension of spiritual connection and well-being for all.
Rose Grant Rose Grant brings skills in listening and leadership to foster healthy communities and vibrant ecosystems. Her advocacy for potent climate action includes early adoption of renewable energy, electric vehicles, and regenerative agriculture – often through unconventional partnerships with farmers and rural communities. Her content contributions to the Conference for Global Transformation have been recognized annually since 2022.
Selma Harwell Selma (Soulma) Harwell is a divined healing master of energy and called by the work and world of transformation for more than 50 years through a series of awakenings since her childhood. Her promise for the world is acknowledging the nurturing part of motherhood for thriving families without disease resulting in health and peace. Through her participation in Landmark’s programs, Harwell helps create the magic of transformation staying alive and real for all people to discover their unique talents, including her family of artists. She enjoys being in discovery and wonder as a custodian of Landmark’s Inquiries of the Social Commons.
Shirley Loo Shirley Loo has been participating in Landmark’s programs for more than 30 years. She regularly participated around the Washington, D.C., Wisdom Unlimited course, which includes two years as registration fulfillment team leader. Loo’s commitment is, “people are thriving, enjoying life, and leading great lives.” She is a custodian of Landmark’s Inquiries of the Social Commons and hosts one of the weekly Contribution calls. During her most recent Wisdom Unlimited course, Loo created herself as “joyful contribution.” One of the ways she contributes is offering Reiki to family, friends, and others.
Stan Carpenter Stan Carpenter is curious. He earned a university degree in cultural anthropology, ceramics, and architecture. Carpenter participated in the Landmark Forum in 1994, opening him to new possibilities that included living and working in England. Since retiring in 2006, he has been participating in Landmark’s Wisdom Course Area and in numerous developmental programs at Landmark. Carpenter’s commitments are most recently being expressed in the Landmark Training Academy and in developing capacities for crafting conversation and conversational spaces where transformation may occur. He is married to retired Landmark Forum leader Jerry Baden.
Sudha Kumar Sudha Kumar’s passion lies in providing excellent care for patients. She is a pharmacist by profession and has earned a doctorate in clinical pharmacy and is a board-certified pharmacotherapy specialist. Kumar leads teams and trains and mentors clinicians in pursing excellence in health care. She has been married for more than 37 years and has two daughters. Kumar has been participating in Landmark’s programs since 1996. She is one of the certified custodians of Landmark’s Inquiries of the Social Commons.
Susan Halim Susan Halim is committed to a world where people are empowered to live the lives they want. With more than 30 years of experience in corporate leadership and entrepreneurship, she blends expertise in supply chain with a deep interest in human development. Halim holds a Master of Engineering degree from University of Toronto and leads a high-performing global team. She co-owns a successful business and is a certified strength coach. As one of the custodians of Landmark’s Inquiries of the Social Commons, Halim listens for conversations that inspire growth, contribution, and connection.
Susan Harrington Susan Harrington is a passionate business coach and leader, committed to service and contribution by connecting with clients and helping them discover their goals, passions, and dreams. Harrington has 35 years of experience in leading Landmark’s programs and has led to thousands of people of diverse backgrounds, always elevating performance and impacting people’s experience and satisfaction. Harrington was a Landmark Self-Expression & Leadership Program leader for 13 years, a designated Landmark Communication Course leader, and a global leader of Landmark’s Team, Management, and Leadership Program for 10 years. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Susan Jones Susan Jones is an empathic visionary, spiritual healer, and author devoted to creating partnership and community in every aspect of life. She teaches others how to activate their natural empathic gifts, create powerful clearings, and generate transformation in their personal and professional lives. A founding member of the Empowering Women Alliance, Susan is co-author of the #1 Amazon bestseller, “Empowering Women With Words: Life-Changing Conversations.” She continues to develop workshops, collaborative projects, and mentorship opportunities that reflect her passion for authentic prosperity and the expansion of human potential.
Susie Fraser Susie Fraser is passionate about all of us cherishing the Earth, giving ourselves the sustainable future of a world where human and natural ecosystems are honored, valued, and nurtured. She loves inquiring and experimenting with generative listening and speaking. Fraser creates collages as a practice, exploring the language of images. She sees politics and politicians as resources – a valuable and fascinating exercise in reframing. Fraser loves her friends and attending classical music and opera. She lives in Sydney, Australia, with Paddy Gaul and two small dogs, Coco and Nero. This is her 26th Conference for Global Transformation.
Terry Kirtz Terry Kirtz, a wife, mother, grandmother, is committed to empowering others to live a fulfilling life. She completed over three decades in the public schools sector and “rewired” her life to support others in having a life of contribution and participation in those communities that are important to them. Leaving Maryland and moving to Idaho has offered her an opportunity to continue her work in the brain injury community by becoming a new board member of the Brain Injury Alliance of Idaho. She also empowers and enables those who cause transformation, herself included.
Tobin White Tobin White, source of and designer of the programs in Landmark’s Wisdom Course Area and Personal Coaching Division, has been a Landmark staff member for 24 years. He is a senior consultant and senior personal performance coach. He studied art and design at Virginia Commonwealth University and had a successful career as an interior designer before joining Landmark.
Troy Priest Troy Priest has 30 years of expertise in empowering individuals, corporations, and small businesses in achieving breakthrough results. His clients gain profound insights into how to break past existing limitations and live an invented future, experience transformative shifts that align action with possibility and achieve unpredictable results. Priest’s participation at Landmark includes being a Self-Expression & Leadership Program leader, a Landmark Forum leader candidate, and an instructor in the Landmark Training Academy. Valerie Andrew Valerie Andrew, a national of Trinidad and Tobago, is a former Wisdom Course leader and has participated in the work of Landmark Worldwide for more than 40 years. Consistent with her commitment to a world that works for everyone with no one left out, Andrew has sourced and contributed to the introduction of Landmark’s programs in countries around the world: Kenya, Zimbabwe, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, and Thailand.
Wendy Keilin Wendy Keilin is committed to creating the next world economy for a world that works for everyone. In a future where human labor is no longer required, what kind of economy could we create? Where a powerful few control much of the world’s resources, what does equity look like? A transformational leadership consultant to high-performance teams and leaders, her work both led to this inquiry and provides a springboard for forwarding it.
