Manal Maurice

Manal Maurice is a senior Forum leader, having led The Landmark Forum for two decades. She has led most programs Landmark offers and held almost every center staff accountability, including center manager of the Perth Center for five years.
In addition to leading the Forum and other programs, Maurice is now the director of Landmark’s Program Delivery Division, which means she is accountable for the successful delivery of the Seminar Program, the Self-Expression & Leadership Program, Introduction Leaders Program and Event Leaders Program, and the Communication Programs worldwide, which includes being accountable for the training and success of those leader bodies. She is also the chairperson of the Forum Leader Body, accountable for the integrity of the leaders of The Landmark Forum. Prior to becoming a full-time staff member with Landmark, Maurice was an attorney in Australia. She was born in Egypt and spent most of her life growing up in Australia.
Sara Safari

Sara Safari is an author, speaker, mountain climber, college professor, electrical engineer and advocate for women’s empowerment. She is the founder and president of a nonprofit, Climb Your Everest, that focuses on empowering marginalized young women through educational programs in South Asia and the Middle East.
Safari is the first Iranian in history to climb the Seven Summits, the highest mountains on each of the seven continents. Her historic climb of Mount Everest is featured in the Netflix documentary “Aftershock: Everest and the Nepal Earthquake,” which portrays survival stories of those affected by the catastrophic earthquake in Nepal in 2015. She received a Global Citizen Award from the United Nations in 2015 and has received an award for her work with women from the International Leadership Association.
Dr. Guy Maytal

Dr. Guy Maytal, who was one of our most popular Closing Session Speakers of the past 15 years, will be our Sunday morning keynote speaker at the 2026 Conference for Global Transformation. A psychiatrist with more than 20 years of experience, Dr. Maytal is the chief medical officer at Forge Health and a clinical assistant professor at Weill Cornell Medical College. His work focuses on caring for people facing serious medical and life challenges, including individuals with cancer, families, veterans, and first responders.
Dr. Maytal has been part of the Landmark community for nearly two decades, recently completing his as a senior seminar leader and continuing to serve as Landmark’s chief medical advisor. He brings a grounded, thoughtful perspective on responsibility, resilience, and what it means to live with intention and care for others.
State of the World
Dave Flattery

Dave Flattery recently retired from DuPont, where he led strategic initiatives for one of the organization’s divisions. He is a Six Sigma Master Black Belt in process improvement, and leads programs in statistics, data analysis, and process improvement. This is his seventh year participating on the State of the World Scorecard Team, where he is now the team leader. He previously presented a poster and co-led a workshop at the Conference for Global Transformation, inquiring into listening for others in the domains of religious belief, agnosticism, and atheism. Flattery serves on several non-profit boards including those of the Santa Barbara United Way and the Compassion Prison Project.
Julia Johnson

Julia Johnson has been the manager of the Conference for Global Transformation since 2013 and has participated in Landmark’s programs for nearly 50 years, including 14 years as a course supervisor of The Landmark Forum and Advanced Course. Prior to going on Landmark’s staff, Johnson ran a marketing and public relations agency in San Diego for 17 years. She holds a degree in business marketing from University of Phoenix and her commitment for the world is for people to know themselves as world leaders, able to make a difference in whatever area they are most passionate.
Closing Session Speakers
Rachel Barwell

Rachel Barwell has commitments that span social justice, environmental, and equity issues. She is a neurodiversity educator and practitioner in Aotearoa New Zealand. She advocates for equal access to dyslexia education for those in her own country, as well as in three African countries and the United States. Barwell is a founding member of African Women’s Leadership and Mental Wellbeing program, drawing together thousands of women across Africa to develop their leadership. She is now part of the ground-breaking New Zealand and Australian Another Way To Go team, supporting formerly incarcerated people to create new futures in their families and communities.
Ravi Bhola

Ravi Bhola is an entrepreneur and business investor, committed to entrepreneurship opening the flood gates to abundance. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and master’s degrees in biomedical engineering and business administration. Bhola has held senior management positions at General Dynamics, E.W. Blanch Holdings, GDE Systems, Orincon and other companies. Currently, he manages Urban Farms Limited, which is building 25 indoor farms throughout the United States, providing cost-effective and nutritious food, while providing a clearing for entrepreneurship to explode surrounding each farm. Bhola is also a board member for several high-tech startups and is actively working on workforce housing in rural areas to support increased economic activity.
Corrina Sephora

Corrina Sephora is an artist, metal sculptor, and painter whose work explores creative expression as a shared contribution and catalyst for global transformation. A recognized leader of Wisdom for the Arts, she lives and works in Atlanta, Georgia. Sephora holds a bachelor of fine arts degree in metals and sculpture from Massachusetts College of Art and a master’s in sculpture from Georgia State University. Her work has been exhibited in the context of the 2024 Venice Biennale and is held in the collections of the Museum of Contemporary Art, the Martin Luther King Jr. Historic Center, and Sir Elton John. She has contributed original content to the Conference for Global Transformation annually since 2013.
